PERFORMANCE: Listen to a special concert by the Kings Cross Hot Club as they revisit the period of bal-musette, the French style of music and dance which became popular in Paris from the 1880s to the 1940s.

Parisian and Italian musicians who played the accordion established themselves in Auvergnat bars, places often frequented by members of the French upper class looking for excitement and a taste of working class life. Kings Cross Hot Club will recreate the ambience of the period with a repertoire including classics by Jo Privat, Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.
