EVENING TALK: Hunter Davies, the only authorised biographer of The Beatles, knew John Lennon well, and has edited the first-ever collection of John’s letters, introducing each one and setting it in the context of its author’s life. John wrote letters and postcards all of his life; to his friends, family, strangers, newspapers, lawyers and the laundry – most of which were funny, informative, campaigning, wise, mad, poetic, anguished and sometimes heartbreaking. Hunter will discuss his latest publication and show a short film that was made when he was producing The Beatles book back in the 1960s.

Ticket price includes wine reception.
