LUNCHTIME LECTURE: The V&A Circulation department was unique in counting amongst its personnel, left-wing, art school educated staff.
From championing the designs of pioneer socialists like William Morris to the democratic designs of Scandinavia, these curators extended the limits of connoisseurship to demonstrate the enduring capacity of the V&A as an institution of ‘art and design for all.
