- Where:The Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Lecture Theatre
SEMINAR: Explore the long-lasting partnership between French screen icon, Catherine Deneuve and fashion guru Yves Saint Laurent. Examine the careers of both actress and designer and the work that they created together on screen.
It began when they met for Bunuel’s film Belle de Jour, in which he dressed her stylishly for misspent afternoons, and lasted until Saint Laurent’s death, including films such as La Sirene du Misissippi (1969) and The Hunger (1983).
