FREE TALK: Elsbeth Juda (born 1911), known professionally as ‘Jay’, studied photography under the Bauhaus artist Lucia Moholy before becoming the in-house photographer for British export and design magazine The Ambassador.
Now 101 years old, a selection of her work is included in the current display 'Island Stories: Fifty Years of Photography in Britain. Erika Lederman shows us the work of this artist who admits to being 'particularly attracted to the absurd'.
