- Where:Offsite
Edwardian Camden Town was a complex mixture of industry, retailing and entertainment, where wealth and squalor co-existed a few streets apart.
Here, Walter Sickert settled in 1905 in Mornington Crescent and produced some of his best paintings of the nearby Bedford Music Hall in the High Street. On this tour Members will discover some of the people at the Bedford, including Marie Lloyd, Peter Sellers and the unfortunate “Belle Elmore”.
