4 WEEK SHORT COURSE: Learn how new Renaissance ideas in the 16th century transformed Northern European art, from the flamboyant sculptors of Germany to the dominant influence of Dürer.

Explore how the astonishingly realistic style of Jan van Eyck revolutionised painting throughout Europe in the 15th century and how the court of his patron, the Duke of Burgundy, set a new standard for magnificence with its dazzling display of tapestry, goldsmiths’ work and other decorative arts.
