Named after the American sociologist and writer Eric Estorick, who started the collection, the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art opened in its present Grade II listed Georgian building in Canonbury Square, Islington, in 1998.

Members will enjoy a private viewing, when the gallery is closed to the public, of the exhibition ‘Giorgio de Chirico: Myth and Mystery’, with the opportunity to study rarely seen sculptures reflecting the artist’s fascination with classical myth and legend.
