Established in 1810, the main aim of the Swedenborg Society is to translate and publish the works of the Swedish scientist, philosopher and visionary, Emanuel Swedenborg (1688–1772).
Incorporated in 1925, it has since become a registered charity. The society is based in a four-storey Grade II listed building in the heart of Bloomsbury, just a short walk from the British Museum. Members will be given an exclusive tour of the building, including the library and neoclassical hall.
