Burghley House in Lincolnshire was built by Sir William Cecil in the sixteenth century and is one of the finest examples of late Elizabethan design in England.
Visiting the house for a private tour, Members will enjoy a two-course meal before travelling to Deene Park. Largely a sixteenth-century house incorporating a medieval manor, Deene Park is built around a wonderful courtyard.
