Saturday 29 November: African Storytelling
Chew your way around the world with African storyteller, Usifu Jalloh.
Location: Level 1, South Asia, Room 41

Saturday 6 December: How the mice got rid of the cats
Join us for an interactive, storytelling performance of a traditional tale from the Middle East about princes, carpet merchants, cats and some very clever mice.
Especially for early years, supported by Outset Family.
Location: Level 1, Islamic Middle East, Room 42

Saturday 13 December: Curious Crafts and Mythical Models
Step back in time to the days of Queen Victoria when William Morris and his friends were causing a storm in the art world.
Location: Level 3, Paintings, Room 81

Saturday 20 December: The Paint Peerer’s Tales
Step through the picture frame and into the painting: take part in an atmospheric story/poetry-making performance inspired by Constable’s countryside scenes. This performance is in place of the previously advertised Midsummer Night’s Dream which has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Saturday 27 December – Sunday 4 January:
Christmas & New Year Programme
Discover the enchanting world of The Nutcracker ballet this Christmas with dance performances and interactive workshops. Meet the Sugar Plum Fairy, gingerbread soldiers and the Mouse King. Become principal dancers at the Museum, inspired by characters from the story.
