Stonor, one of England’s oldest manor houses, with over 850 years of history, contains a remarkable collection of stained glass, European bronzes and early nineteenth-century wallpaper.
After a two-course lunch, Members will visit Mapledurham, which appears in the Doomsday Book as “the maple tree enclosure”. Members will be given a tour of this fascinating estate and view the last working watermill on the River Thames.
