- What:Membership Events
Completed in 1960, the grade II* listed St Paul’s, Bow Common is one of Britain’s most important twentieth-century buildings.
Its Brutalist aesthetic broke new ground for liturgy and form in Anglican architecture. Boasting mosaics by Charles Lutyens and carving by Ralph Beyer, St Paul’s won the 2013 National Churches Trust prize for best post-1953 church. Join art and architectural historian Ayla Lepine for a tour of this fascinating building.
