Founded in 1847 by a group of young architectural assistants as a means of self-education, the AA remains today one of the world’s pre-eminent schools in its field.

Graduates include such world famous architects and theorists as Dame Jane Drew, Sir Denys Lasden, Quinlan Terry, Sir Michael Hopkins, Sir Richard Rogers, Sir Nicholas Grimshaw, Will Alsop and Zaha Hadid. Members will be given an exclusive tour of the building, a talk on the history of the AA, and the chance to view a selection of student work from the mid-nineteenth century to the current digital work of today’s graduates.
