EVENING TALK: Antony Griffiths, former Keeper of Prints at the British Museum, will be giving a special lecture on the central role that medals played in Napoleon’s Empire.
This lecture is being held in conjunction with the V&A’s campaign to raise the funds to buy a rare and remarkable Napoleonic medal cabinet. The lecture will be followed by remarks on the cabinet’s importance to the National Collection from Christopher Wilk, Keeper of Furniture, Textiles and Fashion.
