LIVE MUSIC: Join us for an exclusive concert by the Chamber Ensemble of London to hear a selection of pieces composed in the Georgian era.

The orchestra, directed by violinist Peter Fisher, returns to the V&A for the third time with a programme of familiar and less known music, complementing our ‘William Kent: Designing Georgian Britain’ exhibition.

Items such as Handel’s ‘Water Music’ for George I and his ‘Music for the Royal Fireworks’ for George II are programmed alongside music by William Boyce, Master of Music to George II and III. Very rare items by William Shield, who served George IV, and John Eccles, who was Master of Music to four monarchs, also feature.
