CONFERENCE: This one day conference celebrates a year at the V&A’s Clothworkers' Centre for the Study and Conservation of Textiles and Fashion, located at Blythe House in West London.
The Centre provides access to the Museum’s outstanding collection of textiles and fashion.
The conference will explore the breadth of new research emerging across cultures and periods, from carpets to collaborations, with twenty-first century international fashion designers.

Friday 24 October:
Following Thursday's Conference, book a tour of the Clothworkers' Centre for the Study and Conservation of Textiles and Fashion at Blythe House on Friday 24 October. Tours will be conducted by V&A staff from Furniture, Textiles and Fashion and the Department of Asia. They will feature pre–selected items of textiles and clothing related to the conference presentations.
Tours are at either 10.30–12.30 or 14.00–16.00 and places are strictly limited.
Total cost of conference and tour is £40, £30 concessions, £25 students.
