The V&A Illustration Awards are generously supported by the Enid Linder Foundation and the Moira Gemmill Memorial Fund.

Congratulations to the winners of the V&A Illustration Awards 2018

The following student entrants were also Highly Commended

Each winner received £3000 and the overall winner of the competition was awarded an additional £5000 and the Moira Gemmill Illustrator of the Year Prize.

An awards ceremony and private view were held at the Museum on 15 May, with each winner also receiving a trophy and certificate.

The winning art works and student shortlist will be on display at the Museum until 24 June 2018.

The published entries were judged by Frank Skinner, comedian and broadcaster, Dr Tristram Hunt, Director of the V&A, and Sally Hales, Editor of Artists & Illustrators Magazine. The Student Illustrator of the Year Award judging panel comprised Richard Allen, V&A Illustration Awards 2017 winner and Martin Colyer, writer and art director.
