Jamie, Liam and I were privileged this week to be invited to the launch of the Bank of England’s ‘Who will be on the next £20 note campaign’ in the Paintings Galleries. Open to public and it can be anyone at all, the only stipulates being they must have worked in the visual arts and now be deceased, hmmm who to cast my vote for….I feel a certain Mr.Wedgewood may be in the running.
We also went across to Olympia to visit the V & A’s storage at Blythe House. “WOW” is also I can say! Glen who showed us around was absolutely fantastic and an endless fountain of knowledge!
