Ekta Raheja is an Assistant Curator working on the South Asia Gallery Refurbishment, set to open in Spring 2028. The project reimagines how South Asian art is presented at the V&A, introducing a fresh narrative that traces its global influence across three time periods. Her current research centres on the history, significance and redisplay of the 19th-century temple ceiling from the Kochi region in India. Prior to this, she worked on the V&A East Storehouse as Collections Move Officer, overseeing the object decant for the Asian collections. Trained as an architect, Ekta holds a BA in Architecture from RV College of Architecture, Bengaluru, and an MA in Narrative Environments from Central Saint Martins, London.
