The Tower of Babel – Shop of the Day No. 72

We are certainly reaching the heady heights now, going back to Soho and this time a relative new comer to London but an absolute giant in the art world.  Wonderful to see one of the most influential gallerists open a space in London. New York gallerist Marian Goodman needs little introduction she has been operating at the pinnacle of the art industry for over half a century. She was the first to introduce European artists such as Gerhard Richter and Joseph Beuys to American audiences. Representing Artists such as Gerhard Richter, John Baldessari, Maurizio Cattelan, Steve McQueen, Richard Deacon and Tony Cragg.  Not only is the art great but the space is an absolute beauty too.  I won’t be going shopping there anytime soon but you know these places are always open for browsing. What better day spent than strolling round the galleries of London, you never quite know what you might come across and it is all absolutely free – unless that is you want to buy something!
