For the inaugural exhibition ‘Values of Design’ in the V&A Gallery at Design Society, we’ve been working with filmmaker Alice Masters to create several audio visual installations that explore the many spaces where value is designed, manufactured, displayed and consumed. The filmmaking has taken us to sites across London and Shenzhen (and further afield), including design studios, factories, restaurants, shopping malls, and the many spaces of the V&A itself, all in the hopes of drawing connections in the way we make, consume, and exalt everyday pieces of design.
To give you an impression of what to expect, we’re posting here a short edit of a longer film that will be installed in the gallery at the end of the year.
