The Selection Committee was deeply impressed by the calibre of the applications received in this round, which represented fascinating and impactful proposals for projects taking place in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Canada, Egypt, Eswatini, Ghana, India, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Palestine, the Philippines, Qatar, the UK and the USA.

The Committee has selected 11 projects for funding awards, whose work we will be sharing here over the coming months. The awardees’ work ranges from textile design and teaching to fashion studies and research, textile and dress documentation, and community-led artwork.

The Selection Committee wishes to thank all those who applied to the Fund in this round. We are looking forward to the next round of Scholarship Awards in Spring 2023 and the second round of Project Grant awards in Spring 2024.
