This week I was really excited to design and make some tableware for a friend at the Museum and have it feature on their fantastic social media accounts ‘Symmetry Breakfast’. Their instagram has nearly 300k followers and features daily pictures of scrumptious and elaborate breakfast dishes made by him for him and his partner.
The illustrated breakfast plate design is inspired by my residency project looking at 18th century decoration on ceramic vases, with a splashes of gold and they are or course symmetrical.
