My recent concern is to capture the volume of artificial light. As I am working with projection mapping, the physicality of ephemeral light is an important issue to me.
In this on-going project, called ‘Casting‘, I explore several methods to cast the artificial projected light such as drawing, three-dimensional model, and installation.
In this new piece installed in my studio, I tried to present the volume of projection using the line tapes attempting to invite the corporeal body of the viewers in an active way. In the last open studio, the visitors were welcome to enter into the installation.
