We are delighted to announce a new open call for a Finnish ceramic residency in collaboration with the Finnish Institute in London.
The Residency will be based in our purpose-built studio in the Ceramics galleries at the V&A South Kensington. It will take place over a six-month period from 4 April to 30 September 2016 and is open to Finnish ceramic practitioners based in the UK and abroad.
The Museum will provide a £10,000 bursary (taxable), one standard return flight (for applicants based outside the UK), an accommodation stipend of £6,000 (for applicants based outside the UK), up to £1,000 for the shipment of works outside of the UK by the end of the residency (when applicable) and an additional budget of £1,500 for materials needed for production of any public facing activities or displays. A more modest accommodation stipend may be offered to UK based artists depending on where they are based and other personal circumstances.

Interview date – 16 December between 10 am and 5 pm London time (via Skype)
