Buy online

While many of the early dates have sold out online, do not despair. We still have good availability from mid May and with the exhibition extended until 2 August, there are still plenty of chances to witness the spectacle of Savage Beauty.

Visit the ticket desk

Even if all of the online tickets for your preferred day have been sold, all is not lost. We always have a minimum of 200 tickets that can be bought in-person on the day. Just remember that there may be a queue for these tickets, so we recommend getting here early. Arriving before the Museum opens will give you your best chance at a ticket.

The early bird gets the worm…

Keep your eyes peeled online for special early morning tickets, where we open the doors to the exhibition at 8am. While bleary-eyed commuters are waiting for their trains, you could be experiencing some of Alexander McQueen’s most iconic work.

…and so does the night owl

If an 8am start is not for you, don’t forget that the exhibition is open until 10pm every Friday and most Saturday and Sundays. Last tickets are sold at 8.15pm, with last entry at 8.30pm. Perfect for a post-work end of the week treat.

Please can I book 2 tickets for the Alexander McQueen
Members night on the 12th May

Hi Stella,
You can book this event online here
We hope you enjoy the exhibition.

I want to attend this event however I understand that you have concessions for those who are ‘less abled’ or should I say disabled?… And students. I cannot see anywhere on your website where to book these tickets? Any ideas would be greatly received.

I understand that instead of booking a special ticket to the McQueen show, I can become a member, add my husband as a guest and bring out two U12 daughters all in without a specific time and all on my membership?

Hi Angela,

That’s correct, concession tickets are available for full-time students, 12 – 17 year olds, ES40 holders and disabled people. They cost £9 plus booking fee. Tickets can be booked online via this link: Simply select the date and time you would like to come and then select the type of concession ticket you require.
You can also book in person at the Museum or by telephone on +44 (0)800 912 6961.

I have already purchased tickets! Do I need to wait in the queue to physically get inside the museum then onto the exhibit or can I bypass the regular museum queue?

Are there any particular days you’re opening the exhibition at 8am?
How does one go about getting a ticket for this time slot?

Many thanks. kate

Can you buy more than one ticket on the day with the extra that are released? I just need two. The other person is a surgeon so will be operating so won’t be able to make it! Also, with tickets bought on the day can you choose the time?

Hi there, I think I may have accidentally deleted my confirmation email for this exhibition – I booked two tickets in April/May. Could you please resend them – thanks so much and apologies for inconvenience. My email address is included with my note.

Hi there,
Im bringing my 12 year old niece to the V&A and the Exhibition on the 28th July. Were just coming in for the Day. we were hoping to get tickets but they are now sold out. I had tried to book earlier in June but didn’t have any luck.
What are the chance we could get tickets on the day if we got there that morning?
