As a Co-founding Director of PriestmanGoode, and Global Creative Director of CSR Sifang, Paul Priestman’s job is to look to the future, to shape the infrastructure of tomorrow’s cities with sustainability and efficiency.

But for his Dream House room, Paul looked back to his childhood, and the memory of making pin-hole viewers out of shoe boxes. The experience of peering into a darkened space, and seeing something unexpected and magical, stayed with him.

Now, as an internationally renowned designer of aircraft, bullet trains and other high-tech, high-spec environments, Paul is used to opening out small spaces, turning limited space into a luxury. The Dream House room demonstrates this clever use of mirrors and reflective surfaces, creating a fantastical but believable illusion.
