Design Unlocked Showcase
Explore the latest creative design projects from Dundee’s new graduates
This is a free event - just book a free Museum Entry ticket for your chosen time.
Drop in to our Learning studio to meet the first ever winners of V&A Dundee’s new annual Design Unlocked Award and discover how their projects in Product Design, Computer Arts, Game Design Production and Computer Game Application Development were developed.
Graduates Summer Jade Wood from DJCAD and Claire Monaghan, Fergus Coyne and Romain Bourdon (Cumbrae Craft) from Abertay University will showcase and demo their projects, featuring Minecraft pupil challenges, making heritage education fun, learning about differences through storytelling and removing the taboo around hidden health conditions.
The Design Unlocked Award, selected by our Young People’s Collective of 14-24 year olds, recognises 2021 degree show projects that promote innovative co-design and social impact. It offers a paid showcase opportunity for graduates to connect with our audiences and a 1-year family membership for the museum.
