Daytrippers! Summer activities on the plaza

We’re teaming up with Local Heroes during our first ever Summer Design Market to offer visitors a series of special Daytrippers! themed activities.

Join us on Saturday 30 July to celebrate independent Scottish design and learn about the Japanese tradition of furoshiki. Shop the beautiful collection right on our plaza, grab a coffee (or something stronger) and make memories with friends and family at these fun and engaging free events. The Summer Design Market will also be taking place at the museum between 10.00 and 17.00, so come along and enjoy a day of shopping, design and hopefully some sunshine!

Daytrippers! encompasses a series of specially commissioned, limited edition design souvenirs available to view and purchase at our two customised Christiania cargo bikes, online and in-person at the museum shop.
