Gardens in Fiction, Fiction in Gardens

Join Designer and Researcher in Residence, Harun Morrison to write your own fictional garden.

V&A Dundee Designer and Researcher in Residence, Harun Morrison has been developing a database which gathers descriptions of gardens in fiction, including novels, stories, and songs from multiple eras and geographies. To date, this includes excerpts from Mena Kasmiri Abdullah, Isabella Allende and Italo Calvino.

In this workshop, you will be invited to collectively read selections from the database to generate your own texts. Attendees are asked to meet in Robertson Learning Studio and the workshop will happen in the gardens adjacent to V&A Dundee, weather permitting.

No previous writing experience necessary, attendees must be over 18.
