RSNO Dementia-Friendly Concert

A dementia-friendly concert with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra

This Valentine’s Day, join the Royal Scottish National Orchestra for a dementia-friendly concert at V&A Dundee.

Featuring classical favourites, including Mozart and Mendelssohn, this free concert is designed for people living with dementia and their friends, family and carers. If you are, or someone you know is, living with dementia, we welcome you to join us for a relaxed afternoon of music and community in a unique venue.

The concert will start at 14.30 and last approximately one hour.

To help create a relaxed environment:
• There will be a designated quiet space accessible before, during, and after the concert
• Audience members will have access to the museum 30 minutes before the start of the concert
• Audience members will be free to come and go from the venue at any point throughout the performance
• Audience lighting will remain on throughout the concert
• Venue lighting changes will be reduced

Doors open at 14.00 with admission through the museum's main doors. This entrance is fully accessible. Refreshments will be provided.

There will be RSNO and V&A Dundee staff on hand to support throughout the event.
