Andrew Cameron is the Business Manager of the Design for Business programme at V&A Dundee.
With a background in mechanical engineering, lean manufacturing, business management and Agile software development. He has worked globally for Fortune 500 technology companies and nationally within Scotland’s heritage sector.
His projects have ranged from developing customer engagement software for the financial services industry, to researching the potential for a renaissance of the Scottish slate industry. He is currently undertaking facilitation training at D-School and is a member of D-School’s Global Design Thinking Network.
Dr. Jen Ballie is the Research Manager at V&A Dundee and a Researcher at the University of Dundee.
Jen's journey began with textile design, but over time has organically become more interdisciplinary, drawing upon the fields of user experience, interaction and service design.
Within a world proliferated with too much stuff, Jen's passionate about the role and responsibilities of the design professional and seeks to explore how we can add value to our everyday lives through design. Through an inclusive approach to practice, she has experience of collaborating with other designers, citizens, NGOs, SMEs and big brands, including: IDEO; Oxfam; Stella McCartney; Marks and Spencer; ASOS; Zero Waste Scotland; and the Danish Fashion Institute.
