
Enlighten your mind and body overlooking the Tay
Join us for a yoga experience soaked in morning sun (weather permitting!) and magnificent views of the Tay in this unique series hosted in collaboration with Newport’s Yoga On Tay.
Each class will guide you through some of the teachings from ‘Light on Yoga’, the most widely published book on yoga worldwide, written by BKS Iyengar. ‘Light on Yoga’ is a practical guide based on the traditions of the yoga sutras. These sessions will be taught by Julie Anderson, who has been taught personally by BKS Iyengar.
This session will start with Surya Namaskar (salute to the sun sequences) bringing fluidity with the Iyengar style.
Week 2: Balance and AnglesWith alignment constructing poses to compliment the angles of your museum surroundings, and to look after yourself in practice.
Week 3: Design Calm Careful SequencingAnother trademark of Iyengar yoga, to help you bring a quiet focus and to feel good for your practice.
