In Their Own Words

Stories from our galleries told by our diverse communities in their own words and languages

Dundee is a city of many cultures. In this event, join women from our city’s diverse communities as they explore personal connections with objects from our Scottish Design Galleries. Hear it in their own words and their own languages.

This online event is a celebration of a unique collaborative project led by Amina MWRC and V&A Dundee to upskill local Muslim, Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) women in Dundee. The event will be hosted by Peter Nurick, Communities Producer at V&A Dundee who co-delivered the project, alongside Sabrina Logan from Amina MWRC, and will be followed by a Q&A.

This event is part of Dundee Women's Festival 2021.
