Couture Hand Sewing - Quarter Scale Dress

Learn the essential skills that are used in the industry to make couture clothing. In this three-day workshop you will make in quarter-scale, a vintage-style sundress with patch-pockets using a unique-dress pattern specifically designed for this course. Some of the techniques you'll practice include running stitch, back stitch, stab stitch and prick stitch; whip stitch and slip stitch; uneven basting and thread marking. The workshop ends with a photo-shoot of your finished miniature dress on a quarter-scale tailors dummy.
