Course Leader Jennifer Sturrock

Jennifer Sturrock is a designer, educator and writer working in research, public engagement and creative facilitation. She has partnered with various learning organisations in both private and public sectors and is the Senior Producer of the V&A's Residencies Programme.

Course Overview

This course will cover every aspect of running a Residency programme; from fundraising and budgeting, to artist selection and managing successful relationships with your residents, to the production of new work and displays, creating learning and public engagement programmes around your Residency and legal and copyright considerations. If you are considering setting up an Artist Residency programme in your museum, or already run programmes working with contemporary artists on the production of new work, this course will provide you with practical advice and best practice.
