V&A Academy Programme Manager, Courses Jenny Phelan

Jenny Phelan studied History of Art and Architecture at Trinity College Dublin and Museum Studies at UCL. She has worked in a number of large institutions around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Gallery of Ireland. Jenny programmes adult courses at the V&A including Year, Short, Evening and Weekend courses.

Course Overview

The Victoria and Albert Museum’s collection spans two thousand years of art in virtually every medium from across the world. Visitors to the museum encounter a treasure trove of amazing and beautiful objects. Over ten weeks, this course will delve into the history of the V&A, including exhibitions, collections and displays, through the lens of the museum’s Curators.

This course has a Half Term break on 24 Oct • Refreshments served • Price reductions available for Seniors (60+), jobseekers (ES40 holders) and registered disabled people
