Using historical examples from the V&A collection, Alice and Lilia from Alice and Co. will show you how to transform a boring old straight sleeve into one that will give a jacket, dress or top some eye-catching interest. Perfect for Zoom meetings and making an impact at the dinner table.
The session will start with a breakdown of how a sleeve works, before diving into the wonderful world of sleeve design, looking at how shapes have come around through the eras to the present day. Equipped with your new found sleeve knowledge, you will be able to upgrade an existing outfit or add a flourish to your dressmaking patterns.
