In this session, students will get hands-on with objects from the museum collection, respond to a design challenge, and use a range of materials to prototype their ideas in 3D. Students will get the chance to handle a range of museum objects, including clothing, products, and furniture that responds to people’s needs. They will be given a design challenge and will work together in teams to create a rough prototype of their idea. This session introduces key objects and themes from the Young V&A Design gallery and will support students to develop their creativity, collaboration, empathy and critical thinking skills.
