To coincide with their centenary, Montessori are once again holding their very popular Play Day at the V&A Museum of Childhood.
Meet the designer behind the Montessori Centenary Children’s Garden, Jody Lidgard, practitioners from Montessori Centre International, storyteller Olivia Armstrong and more, take part in activities specially designed for your little ones, and get inspirations for outdoor play in nature.
Collaborative Garden Drawing with Jody Lidgard

Draw and write your ideas for a dream children’s garden on a large collaborative sketch board. An activity with Jody Lidgard, the designer behind the Montessori Centenary Children’s Garden at Chelsea Flower Show 2019.

Visitors will be invited to explore the Montessori approach to teaching, based around hands-on learning and collaborative play. Tutors from Montessori Centre International will share fun, creative and useful techniques for parents to apply at home to help their child’s learning.
