On 10 May, the V&A Museum of Childhood will be closing for a major transformation of the building, galleries and programmes. The RE-Invent festival on the last weekend before closure (8 – 10 May 2020) will offer visitors a chance to say hello and goodbye and be part of something special during this significant moment in the museum’s history.
The festival will include live music, performance, and a rich range of creative and interactive activities on the themes of Play, Imagination and Design. There will be opportunities to connect, collaborate and to make your mark.
We are seeking a design-led individual or collective to develop a highly visual installation that visitors can engage with over the course of festival, reflecting on the museum’s rich past and celebrating its transformation and future.
We are looking for artists and designers with a collaborative practice and experience working with people and involving communities within their work.
The project budget is £3000.
