Teach your children about the animals of the forest with this fun and educational book. Five animals - a brown bear, wolf, squirrel, otter and deer - are explored through rhyme, pictures and pull-out cards to construct into 3D figures. With two spreads dedicated to each animal, adults will be able to read the short playful rhyme on each spread to children and look at the bright illustrations to teach them about their habits and environment. The inside of the dust jacket is printed full colour with a graphical representation of the animals' environment.

About the artist
Abram Games

Abram Games was one of the most important British graphic designers of the 20th century. He came to prominence designing information posters for the War Office during World War II; later important clients included London Transport, BOAC and British Railways. Games' iconic symbol of the Festival of Britain was used throughout the Festival, on posters, guides, leaflets, souvenirs, on the side of the Festival Ship Campania, and at events all over the country. It combined the essential elements of what would become known as the Festival Style: it was romantic, patriotic, but also jaunty and modern.
