This original diorama by Kristjana S. Williams combines fiction and reality, as Alice looks out from Wonderland at the time and place where Lewis Carroll first imagined her story. Surrounded by characters and images from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, including playing cards, teacups and the dodo, Alice observes the serene banks of the River Thames, replete with Carroll’s rowing boat, his books on mathematics, and Christ Church college, where Carroll lived and worked.
Icelandic-born artist Kristjana has collaborated with the V&A to create this exclusive range of limited edition prints inspired by Alice and her adventures.
