This elegant portrait of Gabrielle Chanel taken by photographer Horst P. Horst was first published in American Vogue in 1937 and is held in the V&A archive. 

 

Exclusively for the exhibition, Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto at the V&A South Kensington, a limited edition of 250 high quality giclée print reproductions have been issued, each hand numbered, embossed with a V&A stamp, and presented in an elegant folio with a stamped certificate of authenticity.
