The pattern on this shirt is created using flora such as leaves, marigold flowers and roses collected from the local vicinity in Bhuj, India. Artisans carefully fold the flora inside the silk before steaming and clamp-dyeing in iron water to create this strikingly beautiful pattern. The fabrics are then washed, sun-dried, cut and sewn into garments. Created by designers Anchita Bhattacharya and Anas Shiekh, the Project 23°N 69°E collection combines contemporary designs with traditional dyeing and printing techniques to create stunning unisex pieces.
