Japanese Cranes Denim Sculptural Top - M

Inspired by the simple and classic aesthetic of Japanese fashions in our V&A collections, this stylised, oversized tunic top is crafted from high quality, heavyweight cotton denim fabric and is made in Japan. Featuring illustrations of cranes, chrysanthemums and waves – symbols that are considered to be lucky in Japanese culture.

The V&A has been collecting Japanese art and design since it was founded in 1852 and now holds one of the world's most comprehensive collections, including ceramics, lacquer, arms and armour, woodwork, metalwork, textiles and dress, prints, paintings, sculpture and modern and contemporary studio crafts.
