The design for this 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle is adapted from a wall hanging designed by J. H. Dearle in 1895 and held in the V&A archive. The beautiful design of an owl perching on the meandering acanthus leaves was embroidered with great skill by Mrs Battye for Morris & Co. in 1898-1900. Intended for adults and children over 13 years, the puzzle is created using locally sourced FSC-certified paper, renewable board, and is supplied in a recyclable bag.
