DISPLAY: The dynamic and diverse tradition of temporary architecture defies our expectations of architecture as permanent and monumental. From triumphal arches to international exhibition pavilions, and from experimental designs to emergency solutions, temporary structures are used for celebration, display, invention and intervention. This display of original drawings, prints, models and photographs from the collections of the V&A and the RIBA explores ephemeral architecture from arches for Renaissance emperors to shelters for today's refugees.
