This series consists of the files which were kept by the Touring Department on individuals and individual organisations. Similar files can be found in ACGB/96, ACGB/97, ACGB/98 and ACGB/99. These records have been placed together to produce an additional series, since they do not fit into the sequences which distinguished these other series.
The records mainly reflect relations between companies and theatres and the Arts Council's Touring Department. Many of these companies and theatres were involved in touring projects which received financial backing by the Arts Council.
